2025年2月6日、国立研究開発法人 国立国際医療研究センター（略称：NCGM）主催による、第18回 NCGM国際感染症フォーラム「新興・輸入感染症ーARISEネットワークにおける新たな臨床研究への挑戦一」が開催されました。
当教室のモイ メンリン教授が『アジアにおけるデング熱とアルボウイルス感染：疾病管理における今後の課題と機会』と題して講演をおこないました。

NCGMは、2025年4月に国立感染症研究所（略称：NIID）と合併し、国立健康危機管理研究機構（略称：JIHS）としてスタートします。今回のフォーラムでは、JIHSとして、ARISE（ARO alliance for Southeast and East Asia）のネットワークをどのように活用し、今後の新興・輸入感染症に備えるかを紹介。新興・輸入感染症の中でもARISE域内で近年特に問題となっているエムポックス、デング熱ならびにインフルエンザに着目し、国内外の専門家より各国の動向、研究、治療の最前線を発表をおこないました。

The 18th National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM) International Infectious Disease Forum was held on Feb 6, 2025.
The forum highlights on recent issues related to mpox, dengue fever, and influenza within the ARO Alliance for Southeast and East Asia (ARISE) region, featuring presentations from domestic and international experts on trends, research, and treatment advancements in their respective countries.
NCGM established the ARO Alliance for Southeast and East Asia (ARISE) in 2021 to promote clinical trials across Asian countries in preparation for future pandemics. With the NCGM merge with the National Institute of Infectious Diseases beginning April 2025, rebranding as the Japan Institute for Health Security (JIHS), the forum highlighted on how JIHS and ARISE will collaborate with counterparts to prepare for emerging and imported infectious diseases.
