当教室のモイ メンリン教授、ラホヤ免疫学研究所（米国カリフォルニア州）のスジャン スレスター教授らの研究メンバーは、ヒト ACE2、TMPRSS2、FCGRTを発現するトリプルノックイン（TKI）マウスを作製し、SARS-CoV-2 抗体医薬品の開発に有用な新規モデル動物の確立に関する研究成果の論文報告を行いました。なお本研究成果は、2025年2月27日に英国の国際学術誌「eBioMedicine」に掲載されました。

支援は、国立研究開発法人 日本医療研究開発機構(以下、AMED)の、地球規模保健課題解決推進のための研究事業（日米医学協力計画の若手・女性育成のための日米共同研究公募）および e-Asia Joint Research Programにより実施されました。

Together with Prof Sujan Shresta (La Jolla Institute of Immunology) research group, we had published a study on the development of a triple knock-in (TKI) mice expressing the human ACE2, TMPRSS2, and FCGRT and demonstrated the ultility of the model as a tool for the development of anti-SARS-CoV-2 mAb therapeutics.
The study has been published at the eBioMedicine journal on 27 February, 2025.
