2024年11月15日、当教室のモイ メンリン教授が、国立研究開発法人 国立国際医療研究センター（略称：NCGM）主催、国立感染症研究所（略称：NIID）共催による『第11回 織田記念国際シンポジウム 新興・再興感染症への挑戦：COVID-19からの学びと今後の課題』において、「アジアにおけるデング熱及びアルボウイルス感染症の疫学的動向：潜在的な課題と機会」と題し講演をおこないました。

NCGMでは、毎年、医療分野の先進的な事項をテーマとして、日本国内外から各分野のトップランナーを招へいして「織田記念国際シンポジウム」を開催しています。
第11回は新興・再興感染症に関するワクチン開発、臨床研究、疾病コントロールの専門家に最先端の研究成果をテーマとしています。

Prof. Moi Meng Ling delivered an invited lecture on “Current epidemiological trends of dengue and arbovirus infection in Asia: potential challenges and opportunities” at the 11th Oda Memorial International Symposium on Nov 15, 2024. The event was co-organized by the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM) and the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, Japan (NIID).

NCGM organizes the annual international symposium to accelerate and contribute to scientific exchanges between leading scientists and researchers. The theme for the 11th Oda Memorial International Symposium was “the Challenge of Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases: Lessons Learned from COVID-19 and Practices for the Future”.
