We welcome Associate Professor Dr. Satoshi Taniguchi to our department. Dr Taniguchi graduated from Department of Veterinary Medical Science, Faculty of Agriculture, the University of Tokyo and obtained his Ph.D. from the same faculty. He was a Senior Researcher at the National Insititute of Infectious Diseases. At our Department, Dr. Taniguchi will focus on research and education of infectious disease of importance to Maternal and Child Health and animal models.

2024年1月1日付で、厚生労働省 国立感染症研究所から谷口怜准教授が着任致しました。東京大学獣医学専修卒、同獣医学専攻修了で、専門は人獣共通感染症学、実験動物学です。当教室としては母子感染症や実験動物モデルを用いて神経発達症などの研究教育に期待するところです。
