2025年11月13日、来日中のマレーシア国 保健省の事務次官（公衆衛生）の、イスムニ・ビン・ボハリ氏が、当研究室を表敬訪問されました。

当研究室は、蚊媒介ウイルス感染症（デング熱、ジカ熱など）研究において日本国内外から高い評価を得ている、マレーシア出身のモイ・メンリン教授のもとで研究活動をおこなっています。

イスムニ・ビン・ボハリ事務次官は、モイ教授らと蚊媒介ウイルス感染症研究に関する意見交換をおこなうとともに、実験施設の視察等を実施されました。

今回の訪問は、両国間における感染症研究の協力関係をさらに強化し、公衆衛生の向上に貢献する貴重な機会となりました。

On 13 November 2025, Dr. Ismuni Bin Bohari, Deputy Secretary-General (Public Health) of the Ministry of Health Malaysia, paid a courtesy visit to our laboratory during his official trip to Japan. Under the leadership of Professor Moi Meng Ling, our laboratory conducts research on mosquito-borne viral infections such as Dengue and Zika, and is internationally recognized for its scientific contributions in this field.

During the visit, Dr. Ismuni engaged in an active discussion with Professor Moi and her team on ongoing and future collaborative research in mosquito-borne viral diseases.
The delegation also toured our experimental facilities. This visit served as a valuable opportunity to further strengthen bilateral collaboration in infectious disease research and to contribute to advancements in public health in both countries.
